About I Love Phonics Tutoring

I Love Phonics Tutoring is the private literacy tutoring practice of Montour Falls resident, Casey Easterling, who is also the co-owner of Grandma's Kitchen, an all vegan cafe and bakery, also located in Montour Falls, New York.
Casey began I Love Phonics Tutoring after opening Grandma's Kitchen and realizing that she did not want to let her passion for literacy go despite opening a new cafe!

Casey draws from her formal and informal education, as well as her career as an educator and reading coach in New York City, in order to offer explicit literacy instruction planned specifically for the needs of her clients focusing on Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Writing.

When Casey is not teaching literacy or working at Grandma's Kitchen, she enjoys spending time with her family including her partner, Mike, her kids, Noel and Emry, and her dog, Tucker. Casey loves going to fairs and amusement parks. She is passionate about spreading love through food, veganism, composting, Christmas, her church, her family in Ohio, books, journaling, New York City, traveling, Pictionary, and her Montour Falls community.
